Chrome, Smoke & amp; BBQ is a box set by the American blues-rock band ZZ Top, released in 2003. At the time of release, this box set is famous for using original mixes for all tracks from the band's first five albums for the first time in CD format. This box set, and the release of the Rancho Texicano companion, are the only two CD releases featuring the original mix of First Album ZZ Top , Rio Grande Mud > and Tejas , apart from 1977 The Best of ZZ Top featuring two songs from Rio Grande Mud and one song from > First Album . Tres Hombres and Fandango! reissued in their original mix in 2006, and in 2013, Warner Brothers released the CD set set of 'The Complete Studio Albums 1970-1990' which included ten first ZZ Top studio albums, all with original mixes.
