Gopal Bhatnagar is a Canadian heart surgeon, Public Health Entrepreneur and Advocate based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Bhatnagar is the Head of the Cardiovascular Surgery Unit at the Trillium Health Center, which he founded himself in 2000. He teaches part-time at the University of Toronto and contributes to medical research. In 2012, Bhatnagar founded 180 Smoke, a company that sells electronic cigarettes.
He is the Chief of Staff at Trillium Hospital from 2005 to March 2013. He is a practitioner of heart surgery beating and one of several surgeons in North America to perform minimally invasive heart surgery.
