More Life is a commercial mix by Canadian drama Drake. Artists describe More Life as a playlist, although some publications call it mixtape. The album was released on March 18, 2017, by OVO Sound, Young Money Entertainment, Cash Record, and Republican Archives.
Production More Life is handled by various record producers, including 40, Frank Dukes, Boi-1da, Murda Beatz, T-Minus, Nineteen85 and Kanye West, among others. A guest vocalist ensemble also appeared, including Young Thug, Giggs, Skepta, Quavo, Travis Scott, 2 Chainz, Kanye West, Jorja Smith, Sampha and PartyNextDoor. Following the project announcement, Drake described More Life as "a body [he] created to bridge the gap between major releases [of any kind]". He further commented on the project during the interview with Complex, detailing his intention to "[make] a playlist to give you a collection of songs that became the soundtrack for your life". More Life is subject to many speculative release dates, with it originally set for December 2016. However, it was pushed back to January after Drake suffered an ankle injury on the Summer Sixteen Tour. Further dates are also rumored until the official announcement in March 2017 from the release of the project.
More Life borrows its name from the Jamaican slang phrase to congratulate someone, popularized by dancehall artist Vybz Cartel, whom Drake calls one of the "greatest inspirations" for his own dancehall-inflected voice.
The last song on the record, "Do Not Disturb" mentions "Club Palazzo in the Bridge". This is a reference to the now-defunct nightclub in the northwest suburbs of Toronto, Woodbridge, Ontario.

The front cover of this project featured a photo of Drake's father, Dennis Graham, taken in the 1970s. The photo is surrounded by a black border with a subtitle "A Playlist By October Firm" written under the photo. More Life was preceded by three singles: "Fake Love", "Sneakin" "featuring 21 Savage, and" Two Birds, One Stone ". The song featured guest appearances from American rapper Quavo and Travis Scott, while production was handled by Murda Beatz, co-produced by Cubeatz. The fifth single mixtape, "Glow", was released to urban contemporary radio on June 6, 2017. The song features guest appearances from American rapper Kanye West, while production is handled by 40 and Kanye West himself, with additional production by Noah Goldstein. Critical reception
More Life generally received positive reviews from critics. At Metacritic, which gives a normalized rating of 100 to reviews from mainstream publications, mixtape received an average score of 79, based on 25 reviews.
