Louie Mueller Barbecue is a barbecue restaurant in Taylor, Texas. Called "Texas barbecue symbol" by The New York Times, the restaurant focuses on beef brisket, beef ribs, handmade beef sausages, pork ribs, and other smoked meats. Louie Mueller has been operating since 1946 and became its own entity in 1949. Its current location, which was inhabited since 1959, was once a fitness center in downtown Taylor. This establishment is named for its original owner, and uses the original wood as fuel in its pit. In 2013, fires destroyed the original brick hole at the restaurant site, although other holes were not disturbed.

Louie Mueller is one of the most famous barbecue restaurants in the world. It was named one of the 50 Best Barbecue Barbecue in the World by Texas Monthly. In 2006, he was awarded the James Beard Foundation Award in the "Classic American" category, the first Texas barbecue restaurant recognized by the James Beard Foundation.
