Conair Corporation is an American company that sells small appliances, personal care products, and health and beauty products for both professionals and consumers alike. The company was founded in 1959 and has since expanded to include ten product divisions.

Founded in 1959 in a garage in Queens, New York, Conair started by selling hair rollers and then a hairdryer. It continued to grow, and became a public company in 1972, but later became private again after a leveraged purchase in 1985. It was owned by the founder and chairman of Leandro Rizzuto until his death in 2017.
Conair is one of the largest manufacturers of hair care equipment, ranging from hair dryer and styling iron to innovative curlers, Curl Secret and Miracurl Stylers. The company also produces various home kitchen appliances under the brands of Cuisinart and Waring.
In 2002, Rizzuto pleaded guilty to tax evasion associated with his term as Conair's Chief Executive Officer, and was sentenced to jail term of 20 to 37 months.
Conair acquired Cuisinart in 1989, Waring Products in 1998, and Allegro bag manufacturer in 2007. Pollenex was acquired after Jarden acquired Holmes in 2005, and was renamed Conair Home in 2013.
